Higashiyama (Eastern Hills), is home to any number of shrines, temples and other tourist attractions.  Indeed, many see the hills as an attraction in their own right and happily spend days wandering along the paths in the fresh air.  However, the part shown here lies between the major tourist sites of Kiyomizu-dera and the Yasaka shrine.  One day I may find time to revisit the area and take in more of the shrines, pagodas and so on.  Far too much for a single day, particularly when you spend a couple of hours over a wonderful lunch with a view.

Yet again, everybody photographing everybody else...and themselves.
