Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion...although it is black and white), not to be confused with Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), especially when instructing taxi drivers.  Another interesting rock garden, significantly different from the one at Ryoanji, this time focussing on heaps of gravel rather than rocks in an ocean of gravel.  Must be a weird occupation, going out to rake the Art every day!

As on my previous visit, it rained continuously except for a ten second shaft of sunlight through the trees, hence the uniformly dull images.  Eventually we gave up and went in search of lunch.

Oh dear, it seems I will have to return...again!
