name Minato means port), this district borders the Sumida River and includes
Daiba, an ambitious project built on reclaimed land in Tokyo Bay complete
with exhibition centre, amusement parks and a beach. Minato is home to
numerous embassies, up-market shopping areas (isn't everywhere in Tokyo?),
trendy clubs, bars, restaurants, art galleries and the hotel and office
towers of Shiodome. |
