Skarstad is possibly one of the most beautiful places on earth! I spent a summer night watching the midnight sun over one of the "skulpturlandskap" pieces evolving through the changing light. Entitled "Heaven on Earth", appropriately as I sat on the rocks overlooking the sculpture, the landscape, the fjord, whilst sipping my Chardonnay, nibbling fresh prawns, white bread and mayonnaise! Unfortunately no string quartet, but otherwise perfect!
