| I have no reason to doubt that
Cantabria might be beautiful in the sunshine; the numerous tourist
brochure photos certainly seem to prove it. However, we
visited in March and enjoyed one of the wettest holidays
ever....including the Highlands of Scotland!
However, it was still beautiful in a windswept
kind of way and it was rather fun sitting inside a cosy bar or
restaurant watching the storms coming in from the ocean, passing
overhead with occasional shafts of sunlight breaking through the
leaden sky.
