Seaside resorts are grim at the best of times, but take on a
depressingly desolate air come winter and the windswept beaches with
only the rare individual braving the elements to walk the dog or simply
get away from the missus for a bit. Admittedly the English,
through centuries of practice, seem to have overcome this aversion to
cold, wet, windswept beaches, but here in Spain. only the odd
masochistic aspirant windsurfer bothers to enter the sea.
Valdoviño proves that not all of the Galician coast is photogenic,
unless of course, desolate windswept beaches are your thing. |
