Cedeira | Ortigueira | San Andres de Teixido | Valdoviño

By the time we reached Ortigueira, I had become somewhat inured to the incessant November rain, and was pleasantly surprised that at least the wind had died down.  I could imagine the town in summer with a somewhat more lively centre and weather more conducive to a Spanish lifestyle.  Unlike many seaside towns, it seemed to have retained an authentic if somewhat run down old town, centred around the seafront plaza.  Still, too cold to enjoy al fresco dining, but definitely worth a return visit if and when it ever stops raining.
