A very pleasant piazza almost
entirely devoid of tourists. However, perhaps as important for
me was the location in an adjacent street of not one, but two
excellent and reasonably priced restaurants. As far as I could
make out, it seemed that the older of the two, the Osteria dei
Cavalieri had spawned the more innovative Sosta dei Cavalieri.
Or at least, the waiters seem to know each other well enough to be
family, and they redirect you to each other when they are inevitably
fully booked. This is one of those few places when it is worth
booking; the food is really wonderful and the service, delightfully
Italian. |
