This, and the adjacent Centre for Advanced Studies
(whatever they are), are quite exceptional examples of almost perfect
cubes. Whilst that might sound a trifle boring as architectural
concepts go, their deceptive simplicity belies the complexity of
incorporating a functional building within such a pure geometric form.
For, as you walk around this elementary shape, no ugly, botched
entrances nor clumsy fenestration detracts from the purity of the cube.
Very subtle, very sculptural.
