After the uphill struggle of the day before I was looking forward to a lot of downhill; my only disappointment was that there was still a lot of uphill mixed in with it, although on balance it was a descent.  As I discovered, the only difference between uphill and downhill, is that whilst both involve a great deal of pain, at least downhill is rather less tiring!

Oncoming cows are a frequent hazard of the Camino!
