By
the time we arrived at Boré in the fading evening light we had
learned to our cost that rating a mention on the Michelin 741
map of North Africa may be more a cartographer's flight of
fantasy than an indication of importance. Still, we were
passing through anyway and could see the outline of the purported
mosque from the road, so nothing to lose really.
Turned out to be a busy little market town,
rather pleasant until a couple of kids noticed me skulking around
trying to take discrete photos. From that moment on I was
subjected to an endless torrent of begging from the cadeaux brigade.
