Just on the southern edge of Nara Park, the Ukimido Pavilion, picturesquely located in the middle of a small lake, appears to be the place to have your wedding photos taken.  It is also where countless photographers and artists choose to spend all day, waiting for the light to be just perfect to record the idyllic scene.

This combination of factors means that no-one minds anybody taking photos of them; it is assumed that that is what we are all there for.  So, whilst no doubt somewhat self-conscious, the bride and groom smile and suffer and no-one objects  or attributes paedophile intent to innocent images of cute school kids.
