Ginza | Tsukiji | Hama Rikyu
You could spend all day in Tsukiji, the world's best fish market.  Actually not only fish but every manner of vegetables...after a while your head starts to spin at the simply staggering variety, quantity and quality of the ingredients spread before you.  You do need to get up early though as the action starts around 04:00 and the wholesale auction is all over within a couple of hours.  However, even then there is still the delight of the individual traders offering their produce to the public and restaurateurs.

One particularly impressive feat is that of the bidders for frozen tuna who seem to be able to taste the quality by sampling a piece they slice off the end of the frozen fish.
