| Scotland is
a remarkable country. It has just about everything you could ask for.
Excellent food, beautiful hotels (not always at outrageous prices),
unbelievable scenery, space, sandy beaches and, very occasionally sunshine.
Even in the pouring rain, or some would say, particularly in the pouring
rain which falls vertically upwards in Glasgow, it is beautiful, full of
character, romantic. Edinburgh
is stuffed full of architecture, museums, art galleries and of course the
Festival, whilst not too far away there is countryside, hill walking,
beaches, golf...
