So here it is in all its infamy! The most hideous abomination of dishonest architectural expression. Just what were they thinking about tapping out their silly, plateresque superficialities! Made all the more incongruous when you look at the superb three-dimensionality of so many buildings in Castilla, Salamanca and...here as well! And then there are those absurd inverted, gravity defying arches in the cloister, demonstrating that, just as in Dubai, taste does not necessarily follow wealth. Still, it draws in the crowds, which is perhaps more of an indictment of tourist gullibility than any indicator of quality.
