Portsmouth

Portsmouth is a rather sad, if not unrepresentative expression of what once made Britain great, but is now a rusting, decaying and rather impoverished remnant, even to the extent of creating a pathetic allusion to Burj al Arab... I took some of my first ever photographs here in 1960, and passed through again almost 50 years later to repeat my efforts. Ilford Sprite to Nikon D80...plus ca change!
