The Cotswolds seem to be
caught in some kind of time warp. There are still complete villages
with crumbling, golden stone cottages and rolling countryside unsullied by
the advances of civilisation. Admittedly some of the towns have
succumbed to the geriatric cream tea tourists, but overall it is still a
rather romantic place for at least a weekend.
Snowshill Manor definitely worth a visit even if only
for the unexpected collection of Japanese armour!
