Just about everywhere you go in Yemen is photogenic, but Hababa was almost perfect, although, just below the surface it is not quite so pretty. The picturesque medieval cistern, romantically reflecting the ancient buildings looks great in photos, but close up you can see the unappealing bacterial growths...fortunately they no longer have to drink it although the men do "wash" before prayers!
