Chimi Lhakgang

Chimi Lhakgang was home to a medieval deviant monk, Drukpa Kunley, the "mad monk" as he is euphemistically known, who spent his life engaging in pleasures of the flesh as a means of achieving and sharing spiritual enlightenment. An exceptionally picturesque location and a rather pleasant approach walking across the fields...also a very pleasant cafeteria just off the main road so you can sit and enjoy lunch or a nice cold beer overlooking the valley and hilltop monastery.
