Like just about any city in
Spain it is a delight simply to wander about and enjoy the winding
lanes, trying to keep to the shady side to avoid the summer sun,
stopping here and there for a well-earned drink, enjoying the aroma
of jamon wafting out from the shops...

the golden arches is beginning to get its claws into this culinary
paradise and the subtle scents of Castilian cuisine are now
contaminated by the malodorous stench of cheap cooking oil and
French fries... a sad
migration from tapas to fat-burger... |
