A wonderful bit of history, the Daimler Car Hire Company Building in Bloomsbury was built to meet the needs for garaging (storage, service and fuelling) the cars of the middle classes in the early 1930's, as well as the obvious function its name alludes to.  Although it has long since served neither function, it is happily preserved and currently houses an international advertising agency.
