Arevalo,
supposedly just another castle on the route of castles, though one I
had been advised was not quite as impressive as the others.
For that reason it was not until 2010 that I finally visited and
discovered, not only a picturesque old town with an arcaded Plaza,
but a number of fascinating ex-mosques, churches and, to top it all,
a rather impressive if somewhat unsubtle castle.
