Aranjuez

Aranjuez, another royal palace which for some bizarre reason I only got round to visiting for the first time in 2010. I suppose it was just so conveniently located just outside Madrid and just off the main road south to Andalucía, that it was always one those places that I would see "next time". A pleasant surprise with no tourist hordes, a quiet little town with palace, gardens, excellent food...
