Denmark is also very cold
in winter and warmish in summer. Unlike the rest of Scandinavia
though it is almost European and they do not seem to suffer from the same
hang-ups with alcohol. As a consequence it is a somewhat more
relaxed environment.
The famous Nyhavn which
in summer is full of open air bars; in winter just ice.
